Updating Your Information

To change any of the contacts that we have listed for your organization, you can use our Account Update Form to add or remove contacts that Greater Giving has for your organization. These include Event Software Admins, Financial Contacts (to receive Statements of Account), and Event Directors.

Need to Change Organization’s Name, Tax ID?

If your organization goes through a name change or the Tax ID needs to be changed, please email with the information listed below. Please note that this name must be a valid legal name for your organization and is the name used by Greater Giving to track your organization throughout our records and software. Name and tax ID changes can take up to 10 business days to complete.

  • Current Organization Name
  • New Organization Name (if changing)
  • Current Tax ID
  • New Tax ID (if changing)
  • Greater Giving Client ID

Need to Update Banking Information?

In order to accurately and quickly change the banking information we have on file for your Organization, please use our fax cover sheet along with a voided check or a letter from your bank confirming your account. Please note that banking updates can take up to 5 business days. The cover sheet and voided check can be uploaded directly using our Secure Banking Update Portal.

Greater Giving will not accept Banking Changes that have been emailed in at this time.

Need to update Address Information?

For address updates, please email with the following information:

  • Organization Name
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Old Address
  • New Address
  • Physical or Mailing?

Once we have this information, we can begin the process of updating your address in our records. Please note this can take up to 10 business days.
